Welcome Old and New Friends!

Thank you for visiting my website. This is just the next step in making my dreams, reality. It all started
one day with my old 110 camera shooting for a 4-H project, a sunset on the plains of South Dakota.  I still can't pass up a sunset, and making time
in the day for a breath and amazement in Mother Nature.

My life has taken me on many adventures, and sunsets where my camera was in my hands taking memories. People have said they live vicariously through me, as they get to see places they would never see otherwise. It is my pleasure to share these visions with you all. My husband and I have spent a great deal of time backpacking, alpine skiing, hiking, snowshoeing and mountain biking all through the Rocky Mountains, from the Mexican border to our friends to the north in Canada. I moved to SE Alaska for a year, and have added photos of new adventures via kayak.

Now we have been able to be back home for several months, and reconnecting with family and our homeland.  Since being on an island in SE Alaska, I can now appreciate the scene of many antelope and deer in a field.  The turkeys have been numerous around town and through the city park.  Spring is coming as I can feel the temperatures and smells are changing.  .

My other love is beading jewelry. I have received inspiration for my jewelry designs from nature, emotion and love of color. Having lived in the Southwest, I've been blessed with exposure to local designers of turquoise and coral. With this exposure to many different crafters I love experimenting with different color and textures.

This site is always under construction, so keep stopping by to see what's new.

If you are interested in purchasing any of my photos, please email me.  The price for an 8x10 is $15 + shipping.  I would also be happy to investigate pricing for a different size print, if you would prefer.  At this point, I am only able to accept cash or a money order.

The photos of my jewelry are an example, and have already been purchased.  Most of my work is one of a kind pieces, and I would love to create something for you, or have you request a custom order.  I will be taking pictures of many of the beads I have on hand and posting them on the jewelry page, so check back to see my progress.  I have several sizes of sterling silver plated, glass, stone, crystal, and turquoise beads so we should be able to come up with something for your style.  I guarantee all of my work, and if you have a problem, just ship it back to me in a padded envelope and I will repair the
piece then send it back to you.  You are required to pay the shipping to me for the repair.

I will also be adding  some of my most requested recipes  with  photos, as well as some of my new creations.  All of my cooking is from scratch with the exception of some dried pasta.  Until we moved to the Navajo Reservation with no TV, radio or computer I did not cook very well, mostly boxed stuff.  With the extra time on my hands and a big kitchen, I decided to learn how to cook.  Amazing what you can do with a good knife and a cookbook.

I hope you enjoyed your time here, and remember to keep COLOR a part of all areas of your life!
